Information on the use of cookies
Aesys web sites use cookies and similar technologies to ensure the proper functioning of the procedures and improve the experience of using applications online. This document provides detailed information about the use of cookies and similar technologies, how they are used by Aesys and how to manage them.

Cookie typologies
Based on the characteristics and the use of cookies we can distinguish different categories:
Strictly necessary cookies. These cookies are essential for the proper functioning of the sites Aesys and are used to manage the login and access to restricted functions, they are intended to recognize, for a limited period of validity, the visitor's computer-through an alpha-numeric code generated the first time you logon session – so confirming the result of the test carried out by the user. Their deactivation affect the use of services accessible by login. The public part of the sites Aesys normally remains usable.
Analytics cookies and performance. Are cookies used to collect and analyze traffic and usage of the site anonymously. These cookies, although not personally identify you, allow, for example, to detect whether the same user returns to connect at different times. Also make it possible to monitor the system and improve its performance and usability. Disabling these cookies can be performed without any loss of functionality.
Profiling cookie. These persistent cookies are used to identify (anonymously or not) your preferences and improve your browsing experience. Aesys sites do not use cookies.
Third party cookies when visiting a web site you may receive cookies from both the site visited ("owners"), both from websites operated by other organizations ("third parties").

Google Analytics
Aesys sites also include certain components provided by Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Also in this case it's third party cookies collected and handled anonymously to monitor and improve the performance of your site visitor (performance cookies).
Google Analytics uses "cookies" to collect and analyze anonymous information about web site usage behavior Aesys (including your IP address). This information is collected by Google Analytics, which processes them in order to draw up reports for operators of Aesys regarding the activities on the websites themselves. This site does not use (and does not allow any third party to use) Google analytics tool to track or to collect personally identifiable information. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google nor seek to connect an IP address with the identity of a user. Google may also communicate this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf.

Cookie duration
Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until you close your browser or logout command. Other cookies "survive" when you close your browser and are also available on subsequent visits.
These cookies are called persistent and their duration is set by the server at the time of their creation. In some cases is there any deadline, in other cases the duration is unlimited.

The setting can be specifically defined for the different websites and web applications. Also the best browsers allow you to define different settings for cookies "owners" and "third party".
For example, in Firefox, through the menu Tools-> Options-> Privacy, you get access to a control panel where you can define whether or not to accept the different types of cookies and proceed to their removal.
